chaparral village ( chap ): apartment-like dorms 2 or 4-bedroom configurations housing 1,000 students. amenities include paid utilities, high-speed internet access, , cable. 4 neighborhood centers provide student residents laundry , dishwashing appliances.
chisholm hall ( chisholm ): oldest housing complex on campus, opened in 1986; four-story dormitory approximately 500 student residents. offers rooms in 1 , 2-person configurations, activity center, study lounges, , community kitchen.
laurel village ( laurel ) : utsa s second newest on-campus housing complex, completed in 2008, houses 678 students. similar in design chaparral village, laurel residents able utilize chap s pool, hot tub, , outdoor picnic areas.
alvarez hall ( alvarez ): four-story dormitory , newest housing complex on campus, opened in fall of 2013, 618 students. situated next chaparral village, rec fields, , convocation center. students organized special interest communities , including engineering living learning community, leadership , service lifestyle community, , honors college , terry scholar community.
university oaks ( u oaks or oaks ): apartments 1, 2, , 4-bedroom configurations; second-oldest housing complex on campus. amenities include paid utilities, high-speed internet access, , cable. rowdy houses provide residents 24-hour laundry service , pool access. u oaks houses approximately 1,400 students in total.
