in december 2007 allegations surfaced morrison had affair office administrator, linda carter, in district attorney s office, continued after elected attorney general. carter filed sexual harassment claim eeoc alleging morrison pressured obtain sensitive information kline , several pending investigations @ district attorney s office. morrison admitted infidelity, denies impropriety, sexual harassment, pressure obtain sensitive information, or influence course of investigation.


resignation

morrison announced resignation on december 14, stating tenure end on january 31, 2008. on date, morisson succeeded attorney general douglas county district court judge stephen six.


later career

paul morrison criminal defense attorney in olathe, kansas. represents people charged variety of sex crimes, including internet solicitation, rape, child molestation, sexual assault, statutory rape , possession/distribution of child pornography.
