all-night network routes, route numbers 300-399, operate 1:00 am 5:00 am, 7 days per week, @ maximum headway of 45 minutes. routes offer increased service on saturday , sunday ( late on friday , saturday).
express network routes, numbered 400-499, limited-stop routes. routes classified metrobus, , trainbus , geared deliver commuters specific metro , commuter train stations, although these designations no longer in use. express routes operate @ peak hours monday through friday, , in peak directions.
shuttle network routes, numbered 700-799, special-purpose routes serving canadiens hockey games, tourist areas old montreal , la ronde, express route running 24/7 between downtown , montréal–pierre elliott trudeau international airport.

on august 30, 2010, stm introduced 10 minutes max network. network , overlaid on both local , express networks described above, schedules buses @ maximum headway of 10 minutes, between 6 a.m. , 9 p.m., monday friday, on 31 of stm s busiest bus routes. few routes support maximum headway in customary peak direction mornings , afternoons, while routes outside of advertised network attain short headways within shorter periods.


in 2012, stm announced plan convert entire fleet of buses on electric power 2020. beginning in 2012, stm bus purchases either hybrids or electrics and, starting in 2011, montreal begin testing trolley buses (electric buses powered overhead wires) on of city s busiest routes.

paratransit service
