early career

back in 1995, steve haslam captained england schoolboys team 1–0 victory on brazilian team including ronaldinho. team captained included likes of wes brown, michael ball , michael owen (who scored goal).


sheffield wednesday

steve started professional football career @ sheffield wednesday, team had supported life. signed trainee in 1996–97 season, big things expected of him made debut in fa premier league, aged 19 on saturday, 8 may 1999 against liverpool @ hillsborough. played game in front of 27,383 fans. result 1–0 victory to, owls .


he continued make on 100 appearances , score 2 goals yorkshire club. showing ability play across 4 , in midfield, captained side @ every level including first team.


he released club along 12 other players chris turner in 1 of biggest clear out of players club had ever seen @ end of 2003–2004 season before being signed halifax town.


halifax town , bury

after 100 games halifax, announced on 18 june 2007 steve had made return football league signing two-year deal bury. first goal club 30-yard shot against notts county on 13 october 2007. although had sustained run in side towards end of 2008–09 season due injury paul scott, contract not renewed @ end of season.


hartlepool united

steve signed league 1 side hartlepool united on 6 august 2009, after impressing director of sport , former boss @ sheffield wednesday chris turner while on trial. in may 2011 signed new contract club. haslam released on 10 may 2012.


afc fylde

on 18 september 2012, haslam joined northern premier league side a.f.c. fylde on free transfer.
