hosmer hired winemaker @ chateau chantal in 2007. hosmer born in flint, , graduate of michigan state university in resource development, switched area of study winemaking , viticulture after several years @ teaching-assistant position in france, spain, , netherlands—where learned appreciate wine. hosmer did post-graduate studies in wine/viticulture program @ msu.
