hockenheim s landmark water tower, constructed in 1910 in art nouveau. other buildings of historical significance include protestant town church, 1906 neo-baroque building architect hermann behaghel, , catholic church (1910), done in art nouveau high tower, johannes schroth. old catholic church, classical hall (1817) , late gothic choir tower (1490), serves community center today.
