when everton based @ anfield, used local public house, sandon, base owned club’s president @ time, john houlding. when building went through renovation work in mid-1990s, box of old tickets found. believed number of these included within collection.


the earliest match ticket game played on 1 may 1890, between everton , notts county @ anfield in aid of hospital saturday fund.
