hoping snap two-game losing streak, jets went home week 15 afc east rematch buffalo bills. in first quarter, new york soared off lead running thomas jones got 2-yard touchdown run. bills answer 34-yard field goal kicker rian lindell, yet jets answered quarterback brett favre completing 11-yard touchdown pass wide receiver jerricho cotchery. buffalo take lead in second quarter quarterback j. p. losman got 8-yard touchdown run , completed 2-yard touchdown pass wide receiver steve johnson, new york halftime lead running leon washington got 47-yard touchdown run.


in third quarter, bills got within 1 lindell got 48-yard field goal. in fourth quarter, jets added onto lead kicker jay feely nailed 31-yard field goal. buffalo got lead again running fred jackson dragged defenders 11-yard touchdown run. after jets punt, buffalo took on over 2 minutes remaining. rather try run out clock , burn jets timeouts, losman dropped pass on third down. under pressure safety abram elam, losman let go of ball, allowing defensive end shaun ellis return fumble 11 yards game-winning touchdown.


with win, jets improved 9–5, needing wins in last 2 games clinch afc east.
