segundo romance recorded @ record plant in los angeles, chosen state-of-the-art recording facilities. title announced in june 1994. miguel co-produced album armando manzanero (who produced romance), juan carlos calderón (who produced miguel s albums prior romance) , kiko cibrian (who co-produced aries). manzanero helped arrangements , song selection, calderón involved string section , cibrian music direction.


the song lo mejor de mí , composed rudy pérez, considered inclusion on album, miguel decided against recording felt song work better ballad next album, rather bolero. in 1997, fellow mexican singer cristian castro recorded track album of same name.
