ticket on sale took place friday, may 15, 2009 friday, june 19 show date. 102 jamz sent emails 102 jamz hard hittaz listing scheduled acts, on-air announcements on following days. complete 2009 lineup featured young jeezy, gucci mane, rick ross, soulja boy tell em, fast life yungstaz (f. l. y.), yung l.a. , lil ru. in addition, special surprise guests fabolous , ricco barrino joined show. superjam 2009 sold out weekend before show, audience speculation on possible issues between jeezy , gucci topic of discussion.

on-sale date superjam (#14) friday, may 21. show date friday, june 25. on memorial day (monday, may 31), breaking news email announced legendary emcee, movie star , hip hop entrepreneur million hit records year 2000 , ludacris, plus waka flocka flame , b.o.b. on-air confirmation followed on tuesday morning, june 1 @ 7:25 am. 6 days later, second email announced plies, roscoe dash , party boyz. information broadcast on-air, monday morning, june 7. 2010 lineup included ludacris, plies, waka flocka flame, roscoe dash, b.o.b., party boyz, sean garrett, cali swag district, plus unannounced last minute surprise , travis porter.

vague mentions of superjam began heard week of may 2. on-sale date announced friday, may 13. may 23, waka flocka flame announced superjam headliner , news leaked earlier station hard hittaz on facebook , twitter. week later, both travis porter , young jeezy confirmed, similar advance notice given. june 6, remaining acts announced. friday night, june 17, @ 7:30 pm, superjam lineup featured, in order, big sean, yc (yung chris), jeremih, ace hood, lloyd, travis porter, waka flocka flame , young jeezy. 2 mix squad battles (dj polo/dj mc , dj deluxe/j-flex) featured between acts, well.

superjam (2012)

102 jamz gave away first superjam tickets in march ncaa tournament ball bustin’ brackets predictions. in april, tickets various area concerts “set superjam season.” may 4, 102 jamz teased upcoming announcement, occur 1 week later. rick ross, 2 chainz, j. cole, wale, dj drama , ca$h out named, tickets go on sale may 18. social media leaks preceded each on-air announcement.

ticket giveaways began earlier usual, listeners responding rick ross’ on-air mic checks in late may. next, audience encouraged listen series of super songs in order win vip tickets in first 5 rows, including number of front row tickets. in june, station began giving away pairs of tickets every hour. week of show, vip tickets give away daily, on fifth row monday, fourth row tuesday, etc.

back contesting ran mid-may through day of show, tickets given away listeners put on astronaut status , text-to-win contesting floor seats , super songs tied tickets in first 5 rows, including 4 pair in front row. 2 weeks, station gave away pairs of tickets every hour, day , night, followed several days of v.i.p. platform seats contesting every hour, tickets in each of first 5 rows. superjam tickets , v.i.p. platform seats given away on streets, well. dj lil vegas , willis created superjam 2013: mixtape.

friday night, june 21 @ 7:30, french montana appeared surprise last minute replacement a$ap rocky. social media shared videos, posts , pics , show streamed live.

a text contest gave station listeners chance win front row seats. super songs platinum seats offered opportunities win floor seats near stage. tickets every hour given away 24/7 2 weeks, followed v-i-platform seats every hour ... winners given exclusive, not-for-sale passes join select group on risers @ of floor seating area, tables, stools , bar service. week of show, sets of tickets given away daily in each of first 5 rows, building front row friday.

the 18th annual superjam streamed live contesting, special mix squad sets , entertainment filling downtime between acts.

2015

on thursday morning, may 14 @ 7:45, b-daht of 102 jamz 3 live crew morning show announced bad news ... there no superjam in 2015. sounding heartfelt, said worst day of career, reminisced growing in greensboro , attending superjam concerts each year. mentioned seeing diddy , lil kim, being impressed busta rhymes and, part of on-air staff, excitement of being @ show gucci mane , jeezy beefing , had both of them in same building @ same time.
