the complex rectangular open courtyard (17.80 x 20 square meters) in middle, surrounded 4 corridors. qibla wall located @ northern hallway. qibla area enterable through 5 entrances on southern side. consists of 4 rows of high columns, octagonal , rectangular shaped. roof directly covered ceiling , hall covered wooden beams dating 11th-century, of renewed in 1358. southern hallway consists of southern wall 2 entrances. eastern hallway consists of 2 pillars pointed columns. on south-side of western hallway there hall used madrasa memorization of holy quran.
mihrab
the mihrab of queen arwa mosque.
the mihrab located in middle of qibla wall @ northern hallway. simple cavity of 85cm deep, , topped tapered lace on 2 poles floral , geometric motifs. mihrab surrounded kufic inscriptions, reads follows: in name of god gracious merciful accept lord , among worshipers , not of ignorant , worship lord until there comes certainty (death) , , decoration of niche inside , variety of plant decorations includes leaves of grapes. on side of mihrab there inscription written in kufic of script surah at-taubah 18. mihrab painted modern chemical paint.
old minarets
the mosque has 2 minarets, 1 located on south-east, , on south-west. eastern minaret consists of high square stone based body sixteen ribs.
