mr roger perks o.b.e
charles roger perks, known mr roger perks, joined maypole high school naseby school, had been head teacher. maypole 1 of worst failing schools in country , described @ time having greatest number of referrals social services of part of city in europe . perks took role of headteacher in 1983 when merger between maypole high school , 2 other schools led formation of baverstock school. had hard task, school had pupils 3 failing schools cater for, , new school s 150 places @ first had 26 applicants. within 5 years, baverstock regarded 1 of birmingham s successful inner-city schools. perks awarded o.b.e services education in 1991. retired in 2002 after 19 years of service school, , died on christmas day in 2004. students of baverstock school raised lot of money (through concert) memorial him.

mr david green joined school in late 2002 , left @ end of summer term 2010. saw school gain best ever results @ end of 2010. has become chair governors of kings norton girls school.
mr thomas marshall
mr thomas marshall took position of headteacher in september 2010 term. on 1 june 2013 baverstock foundation school , specialist sports college became baverstock academy, mr thomas marshall executive principal of academy trust.
the school rated inadequate ofsted in 2014 , placed special measures. in november 2015 school investigated department education seen concern on irregularity within school s finances. investigation came conclusion of serious allegations of financial irregularity , governance @ school between august , september , sought improvement december 2015. led removal of mr marshall post in december 2015. on 1st november 2016 thomas marshall resigned board of trust, ending position @ academy.

mr peter cox
mr peter cox became interim principal in june 2016. january 2017 became ceo of leap academy trust. in february letter leaked bbc, letter dated november 2016 , addressed lord nash. clear pushing closure of academy , clear breach of role interim principal , ceo, employed dfe remain impartial , stabilise academy. upon news campaign group pushed resignation achieved in march 2017.
