debut

rajamouli started directing telugu soap operas on eenadu television, under guidance of k. raghavendra rao. first shot @ telugu films student no.1, jr. ntr in 2001. took 2 years rajamouli come second movie simhadri. in two-year gap between student no.1 , simhadri, rajamouli planned first mythological film malayalam actor mohanlal, film got shelved. in 2015, assistant art director manu jagath, later worked art director baahubali, released several sketches had drawn shelved mohanlal project. rajamouli s third movie sye, actors nithin , genelia d souza. first-of-its-kind movie in tollywood, in based on rugby game. movie first instance rajamouli collaborated k. k. senthil kumar. next chatrapathi, themusic of m. m. keeravani , cinematography senthil kumar.
