abū-sa īd born in village of mihne, part of greater khorasan, today located near torbat-e heydarieh in khorāsān-e razavī province. father herbalist , physician interest in sufism.


he moved , lived few years in city of nishapur, , subsequently moved meyhaneh after few years. abū-sa īd’s formal education included islamic scholarship , arabic literature continued until age 23 when left them sufism.


he traveled , spent time in small towns around same province visiting other sufis or teachers.
