queen s royal college, national trust of trinidad , tobago listed building, built on corner of st clair avenue , maraval road beginning 11 november 1902, when foundation stone placed acting governor of day, sir courtney knollys. daniel m hahn, former student of queen s royal college @ princes building, designed german renaissance style building, includes chiming clock , lighted clock tower. chief draughtsman of public works department. according national trust, queen s royal college considered striking of buildings of magnificent seven.


the secondary school, designed tropical interior, built 6 classrooms , lecture hall 500 people. less 200 students attended school each year. of 2016, building being restored, including classroom s hand-painted murals. listed heritage site , protected under national trust act.
