in olympic oval, calgary, or utah olympic oval, salt lake city
in other ice rinks
or 6:35.00 on 5000 m
or 6:40.00 on 5000 m
or 4:15.00 on 3000 m
or 4:20.00 on 3000 m

for mass start , team pursuit events, skaters had achieved 1 of above results qualified. however, every isu member nation allowed enter maximum of 1 skater per gender had not achieved of these results, provided had achieved 1500 m result of 1:57.50 (men) or 2:10.00 (women).


nation quotas

every isu member nation allowed enter @ least 1 competitor each distance, subject qualification criteria above. additionally, skaters placed among top 32 in final 2013–14 world cup, or included in final qualifying list (including reserve list) of 2014 winter olympics, distance category concerned, allowed entry. nations allowed earn quota place each skater placed on final qualifying list (excluding reserve list) olympics. maximum quota 5 skaters. member nation organizing world cup competition granted maximum quota in events. member nations not mentioned allowed enter maximum of 1 skater each distance.



for mass start event, member nation allowed enter maximum of 2 skaters, subject qualifying criteria above. team pursuit event, member nation allowed enter 1 team per category (men/women).


the world cup competitions 1–4 served qualifying events 2015 world single distance championships. world cup 5 served qualifying event 2015 world allround championships, , world cup 6 served qualifying event 2015 world sprint championships. results world cups 1–6 defined seeding single distance championships. world cups 5 , 6 had extended entry quotas due status qualifying events; each isu member nation got 1 more quota place highest quota of either of 2 distances in competition, however, maximum quota still 5 places.
