lacrosse – coquitlam home coquitlam adanacs of western lacrosse association, play @ poirier sport & leisure complex, , coquitlam minor lacrosse association. in july 2008, percy perry stadium hosted 2008 ilf under-19 world lacrosse championships.


motorsports – coquitlam formerly home westwood motorsport park, canada s first purpose-built permanent road course, located on westwood plateau. first race held in 1959, , on years hosted many different professional series including formula atlantic , trans-am. notable drivers have raced @ westwood include formula 1 world champion keke rosberg, indianapolis 500 winners bobby rahal , danny sullivan, gilles villeneuve , michael andretti. track closed in 1990 due encroaching development, , racing moved mission raceway park.
