hoping rebound tough mnf road loss chargers, jets went home, donned new york titans throwbacks, , played week 4 interconference duel arizona cardinals. after scoreless first quarter, new york begin explosive second quarter. began qb brett favre completing 12-yard td pass wr laveranues coles. continued cb darrelle revis returning interception 32 yards touchdown. afterwards, new york kept domination going favre completing 34-yard td pass coles, kicker jay feely getting 20-yard field goal, favre , coles hooking each other third time on 2-yard td pass, , feely kicking 30-yard field goal.


in third quarter, cardinals started rally rb edgerrin james got 4-yard , 2-yard td run, while rb tim hightower got 1-yard td run. in fourth quarter, jets answered favre completing 17-yard td pass wr jerricho cotchery. arizona replied qb kurt warner completing 8-yard td pass wr anquan boldin, yet new york continued victory march favre completed 40-yard td pass cotchery. cardinals tried come warner completing 14-yard td pass wr jerheme urban, yet jets able close out game favre threw career-best sixth touchdown pass rookie te dustin keller 24 yards out. in final minute, anquan boldin suffered fractured paranasal sinuses result of helmet-to-helmet collision. after witnessing injury, kurt warner considered retirement, remained lead cardinals super bowl xliii.
