in third quarter, new england hacked away @ new york s lead cassel completed 10-yard td pass te benjamin watson (along 2-point conversion pass gaffney) on final play of 3rd quarter. in fourth quarter, patriots erased jets 18-point lead gostkowski kicking 47-yard field goal. new york answer rb thomas jones getting 1-yard td run, new england tied game cassel completing 16-yard td pass wr randy moss, had beaten ty law time expired. in overtime, jets took kickoff , marched straight down field win on feely s 34-yard field goal. drive included clutch throws favre, particularly connection dustin keller on 3rd-and-17 deep in jets zone. favre s 42nd game-winning drive in fourth quarter or overtime in career. washington selected afc special teams player of week first time in career. 92-yard touchdown fourth kick return td of career, surpassing justin miller club record.
