csun encourages students enhance overall college experience joining clubs , organizations. there more 300 student clubs , organizations @ csun. through matador involvement center, students have opportunity start new club. clubs , organizations @ csun must sign non-hazing contract. csun has 0 tolerance form of hazing.

fraternities , sororities

the university home many fraternal organizations including 9 north-american interfraternity conference members such zeta beta tau, kappa sigma, sigma chi, lambda chi alpha, phi kappa psi, sigma phi epsilon, alpha epsilon pi, sigma nu, phi delta theta , sigma alpha epsilon, along 7 national panhellenic conference members, includes alpha omicron pi, alpha xi delta, alpha phi, delta delta delta, delta zeta, kappa kappa gamma , phi mu. university s pi kappa phi chapter surrendered charter in 2014 following hazing related death of armando villa.

csun has 4 organizations national pan-hellenic council include phi beta sigma, alpha kappa alpha, sigma gamma rho, & zeta phi beta

the campus has 7 united sorority , fraternity council members, such gamma zeta alpha fraternity , lambda theta nu sorority, 2 armenian greek council members, 7 national pan-hellenic council members. there many political , cultural clubs on campus including chabad @ csun , hillel: foundation jewish campus life jewish students, students justice in palestine, mecha , hip-hop think tank.
