to promote album, miguel began segundo romance tour in august 1994 16 shows @ national auditorium in mexico city, drew audience of on 155,000. miguel performed throughout mexico, united states, peru , argentina until 31 december 1994, when tour concluded in acapulco. first part of miguel s set list featured pop songs , contemporary ballads; during second half sang boleros segundo romance , ranchera songs, before closing será que no me amas , spanish version of jackson 5 s blame on boogie .


in october 1995, warner music released el concierto live album , video, compilation of miguel s performances @ national auditorium in mexico city , concert @ estadio vélez in buenos aires. stephen thomas erlewine of allmusic praised production , miguel s performance.
