the original buildings on phoenix indian school campus built in victorian queen anne style. however, oldest remaining building, dining hall, bucked trend. both dining hall , memorial auditorium constructed in mission revival style, in 1902 , 1922, respectively. mission revival buildings on pis campus, , no use of mission revival in arizona before dining hall s construction has been documented. 2 buildings considered best ... mission revival auditoria ... in southwest. the building lower grades modified on interior house band, retains 1931 moderne exterior. in 2014, native american connections , phoenix indian center launched project renovate building, hoping open public first time in 25 years.
